First Philosophy
Matthew 20:18-20
"ALL authority has been give to ME (Jesus) in heaven and on earth. GO therefore and MAKE disciples (Christ-disciples) of all the nations, baptizing in the Name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, TEACHING them to observe all that I (Jesus) commanded you; and lo, I (Jesus) am with you always, even to the end of the age."
Colossians 3:17
"And say to Archippus (insert your name), "Take heed to the ministry which you have received in the Lord, that you may fulfil it."
We believe that God has called each and every one of us to a ministry. If God called us, then He will equip us to do the ministry as we make our selves available to HIM.
Mark 10:45 states, "For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many." We believe God has called you here to minister (serve) to others in the power of the Bible & Holy Spirit. You can find a place to minister to others by taking the gifts God has given you and using them for His Glory.
Our philosophy of ministry is:
To be a "body of Believers" worshipping God, reaching others, and teaching others, and growing in the fellowship of being Christ-disciples.
Worship
- To provide & establish a place where Christ-disciples may gather
- To minister to God and others in the power of the Holy Spirit
Ministry
- To minister unselfishly to others in the church family through discovering and using our God given gifts and abilities to meet their spiritual, physical, and emotional needs.
- To share the good news of Jesus Christ with as many as possible in our community and throughout the world, with a heart of compassion to meet their needs.
Discipleship
- To encourage, support, pray, care for, and in other ways edifying one another in personal family life and in the family of God.
- To effective teach and encourage others to grow mature
- To use the Bible and be led by the ministry of the Holy Spirit to teach others
Fellowship
- To include others in times of fellowship to know and experience God daily
We will be involved in ministry to God and others, invest in others to become Christ's disciples, instruct each other to mature in Christ, and include all to become a Christ's disciple.
"To be a "body of Christ-disciples" worshipping God, evangelising the lost, discipling believers, in fellowship with each other, in the power of the Word & Holy Spirit."
